Is it in the best interest of present politicians or parties to initiate such reforms? I am not sure.<br />I have only some doubt of priciple no. 4, "foreign competition". Although competition is good but looking at the sensitivity of the jobs it may not be very appropriate unless no one has the required skill to do the same in Pakistan. There may be some other important areas to be considered for reforms:<br />1. Selection criteria: The present examination and interview system is very old where professionals have to study areas which are of no use to their expertise like history, Islamic studies etc. <br />2. Elimination of quota system<br />3.
